What comes with the download?
One macOS installer contains TaskDeck, its companion plugin, and the runtime the plugin needs. You do not need Xcode, Node.js, or a copy of the source code. Install Codex or ChatGPT with plugin support first.
Will an update keep my tasks?
The installer replaces the app and companion, not your task files, settings, or sync state. It saves the previous app and plugin for recovery. Quit TaskDeck before running the installer.
Does it automatically get access to my accounts?
No. You choose which sources to connect in your AI host. Installing the companion does not grant access to Slack or any other service. Available integrations depend on your host, account, and workspace permissions.
Is this the iPhone app too?
This download is the standalone Mac installer. It does not install an iPhone or iPad app.
